America’s Got BAD BREATH!!!!!!

24 06 2008

I had the worst train ride last night!!  There are 2 reason’s why this train ride was the worst train ride EVER!!

The first reason was that the train was 25 minutes late.  So, instead of arriving at 6:30pm we didn’t arrive until 6:50ish.  Uggggg!!!  Usually, I wouldn’t mind this as I am fast asleep for most of the train ride.

The second reason is that the woman sitting next to me had the WORST breath in the friggin’ world!!!!  her bad breath woke me out of a dead sleep.  Her breath was so bad that I had to turn my head away from her, which also gave me some muscle pain in my neck.  She kept yawning the whole way home

which spread her bad breath all over the place.  It was awful.  So, for all of you out there with chronic halitosis you better take care of it, or else your picture could end up on my blog!!!

Happy Earth Day…and other such musings

22 04 2008

It’s April 22.  Happy Freakin’ Earth Day!!

Second note of business.  Work.  Not going so great these days.  Plan B plans are going slow!!

Tomorrow is a dreaded day for yours truly.  I have been summoned to the suburb of Hoffman Estates by my boss for a meeting.  This is NEVER good.  I KNOW it’s not going to be good for me.  I have been told in such terms that I am going to be put on a performance plan.  Not good at all!!  It’s kind of like a probation, for 90 days, I am going to be put under an even heavier microscope.  Within said 90 days, if I mess up in any way, I can be fired!!  No questions asked!!  UGH!!  What makes matters worse is that I think they “the leadership people” are going to move me to Hoffman Estates, which is not good either!!  It is sooo not a commutable distance for me.  It’s like 50 miles one-way in heavy traffic everyday.  Also, with gas prices at almost $4 a gallon, there is no way I could afford to make the drive.  The train is much much cheaper!!!

So, anyway, here I am, with a huge pit in my stomach, dreading tomorrow.  Oh well, I shall survive!!

Weird Sightings…

9 04 2008

So, I see the weirdest crap on the train.  I don’t know how to classify this, however, I felt I needed to take a few pics and post.  Aye, yai, yai…  This girl has the most perfect hairline ever!!!  There’s no widow’s peak, no girly sideburns…  I wonder if she had major laser hair removal on her hairline.

Too Racy?

What are you looking at?
Greece has a high number of auto accidents. These high numbers have prompted concerned citizens and the government to take a second look at billboards. Would this billboard cause you to take your eyes off the road?

Natural repellants…

24 04 2007
As some of you may or may not know, I ride the train to and from work. There are 2 lines the go into Chicago from Joliet, the Rock Island line and the Heritage Corridor line. I take the Rock Island line in the morning to Chicago and the Heritage Corridor home. Anyway, there is a particular passenger that rides the morning train that especially repulses me. I have no idea why this is, and I have never felt this way about a person that I have never met before. I have never spoken to this guy before, I have only ever seen him on the train.

Joliet is the first stop on this line and this guy boards on the second stop. So, every time I see him on the train he seems to sit behind me or in front of me. There is just something about the way this guy looks, smells, moves that repulses me. He wears too much cologne, too much facial hair, something that makes me literally, sick.

This guy has a routine when he boards the train. He picks his seat, usually the seat right behind or right in front of me, removes his jacket, adjusts his pants and then makes his way over to the lavatory. (It’s usually at this point where I pick up my stuff and move to another seat in another car!) Then he returns to his seat where he proceeds to breath on the back of my neck for the rest of the trip.

What is about this guy that repulses me so? Yesterday, he sat in the seat right behind me again, and I was almost asleep so I didn’t bother to move. He seems clean, like he showers daily, he has a steady job, he’s not totally awful looking for an older guy. I even feel nauseous now that I am thinking about him. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
